I forgot my vault PIN

Stashlet never stores your PIN, so no one, including us, can reset it or open the vault without it. If you're certain it's lost, deleting the app removes the vault so you can start again. That's the trade-off for real privacy.

Can I move my vault to a new iPhone?

Not directly. The vault and its key never leave the device and aren't in backups. Before switching phones, save the items you want to keep to Photos or Files, then add them to Stashlet on the new iPhone.

Face ID isn't working

Check that Face ID is enabled for Stashlet in Settings › Face ID & Passcode › Other Apps. If Face ID fails, iOS falls back to your iPhone passcode, then Stashlet asks for your vault PIN.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

On your iPhone, open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Stashlet. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription. For refunds, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

I reinstalled the app. How do I get Plus back?

Open Stashlet's upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.

Did adding a photo delete the original?

No. Stashlet saves an encrypted copy and leaves the original in Photos. Delete it there, and from Recently Deleted, if you want it gone.

How does the decoy PIN work?

Set it up in Security Center. Entering the decoy PIN opens a separate encrypted vault with its own contents. The app shows no sign that a second vault exists.
